Check and see that the desktop area is at the lowest possible setting:
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
3) Double-click the 'Display' icon. (The 'Display Properties' dialog box appears.)
4) Click the 'Settings' tab.
5) Check and see that the 'Desktop area' slider is completely to the left (at 'Less').
